The Human Question
A Journal of Humanistic Inquiry
What does it mean for the person, and for humanity?

Albert Tan Sin Hon · President and Editor-in-Chief
I have founded The Human Question as a place for thoughtful scholarship about how people make meaning, live together and understand their place in the world. Across law, the sciences, politics and culture, the question returns to the human consequences of our ideas and institutions.
My hope is that the journal will bring people from different disciplines into a conversation that is rigorous, generous and accessible. Open access is central to that ambition.
Bring your question to the founding issue.
We welcome papers that explain what their subject means for human life. Send your manuscript, a separate title page and a short covering email to editor@thehumanquestionjournal.com.
The editorial process begins with an assessment of scope and readiness. Suitable papers proceed to independent external peer review, followed by revision and author approval of the final proof. The first issue is in preparation; no articles have been published on the journal website yet.
There are no author fees. The publication style and editorial policies are available to read and download before submission.
